Equipment Service Worker
This is an entry level classification in the Transportation and Public Works Department. Positions in the class work under general supervision to perform a wide range of both light repairs and routine service tasks in the maintenance and repair of City vehicles and equipment. This classification is distinguished from the related class of Equipment Mechanic I in that the latter is a mid-level position in the classification series which performs the full range of skilled and complex tasks in the maintenance and repair of City vehicles and equipment. Equipment Service Workers maintain City vehicles and equipment in compliance with established rules and regulations.  The Mechanic Shop operates from 5:30am until midnight, with different shift options available (9/80 or 4/10).In order to qu
