								<description>West Lafayette, Indiana,  The Li lab (https://www.purdue.edu/hla/sites/lilab/)&#xa0;at Purdue University seeks applicants for a postdoc position that offers interdisciplinary training in plant functional genomics and systems biology. 
 This position will lead projects to characterize dynamic chromatin regulation in crop species using molecular genetics and functional genomics approaches. This position will also contribute to other projects in the lab involving single cell  omics  and large language model-enabled functional genomics research. Plant scientists who are proficient in both molecular biology and bioinformatics are highly encouraged to apply. Plant molecular biologists with an appetite for  omics  and big-data analysis are welcome to apply.

The candidate should have at least four -year experience (wet lab and dry lab combined) related to plant molecular biology. 
 Preferred Qualifications: &#xa0; 
 
 Domain knowledge in plant functional genomics, gene regulation, epigenetics, and/or specialized metabolism. 
 Prior experience with next-generation sequencing analysis, including wet-lab and/or dry-lab approaches, is highly valued. 
 Proficiency in HPC, R, Python, and/or Perl is a plus. 
 Prior experience with plant transformation and CRISPR-based genome editing. 
 Prior experience working with proteins, such as immunoprecipitation or related techniques.</description>

 The expected nine-month base pay range for this position is $143,500 - $180,000.&#xa0;Stanford University has provided a base pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position.
