Nature of WorkThe Director of Construction is a leadership position responsible for the overall administration, management and delivery of special development projects in downtown Rochester in support of economic vibrancy and growth management. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: expert level planning, oversight, analysis, communication, technical assistance and guidance for state, federal, and privately funded construction projects; project scheduling, coordination between concurrent projects, and budget management. This position plays a critical role in collaboration and coordination of City teammates with external partners to achieve City Council priorities.
