Lecturer/Assistant Teaching Professor of Project and Supply Chain Management
Penn State York invites applications for a Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor in Project and Supply Chain Management, multi-year non-tenure line appointment, 36 weeks to begin August 2024, or as negotiated.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include teaching each semester of lower- and upper-division courses in management and project/supply chain management and supporting areas such as statistics and/or management information systems. Instruction modalities include traditional, hybrid, and/or online delivery methods. Teaching assignments may require teaching day and evening classes as needed. Remain current in the field through appropriate professional development activities. Participate in professional organizations and in course, curriculum, and program development. Advise students and provide career guidance. Participate in campus, university, and community service activities.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in business administration or closely-related discipline is required. ABD candidates will be considered if there is a clear degree completion date. Degrees must have been awarded by an AACSB-accredited institution. Commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment is expected. Interest in active and collaborative learning, the instructional use of technology, and hybrid and online teaching is an advantage. Prior college-level and online teaching experience preferred. Enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary environment is important.
