Manager, Design and Construction (Water Distribution)
The Manager of Design and Construction is responsible for managing and designing water transmission, distribution and storage facilities, buildings and structural upgrades, new constructions, rehabilitations, and repairs and routine maintenance projects. Responsibilities include the development of cost estimates and planning designs for engineering projects. Because the Authority has a responsibility to serve the public 24-hours a day, an employee in this class is expected to work extended hours and weekends as conditions demand and may be called in on short notice as needed.
