Located in Columbia, MO, this leadership position will provide direction on Missouri Electric Commission (MEC) owned transmission assets, input, and guidance on jointly owned transmission, and be available to provide engineering expertise to members on their systems.  Will direct MPUA-RSC line services activities and provide technical expertise in support of member cities’ electric T&D systems.  Responsibilities include: Assist in planning and design of transmission assets and schedule operations work on MEC solely owned transmission. Supervise the MPUA Line Crew Leader in the performance of their duties be it MEC or member cities T & D systems. Interpret and apply common codes and standards including the NESC, IEEE, NFPA, NEC, ANSI, FERC, NERC, etc
