Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Pacific is recruiting for permanent full-time Construction Managers, Architects, and Engineers in the following disciplines: Civil, Structural, Construction, Electrical, Environmental, General, or Mechanical with five years of specialized journeyman level experiences. Job locations in Hawaii, California, Washington State & Guam.
Job Purpose and Summary
Provide construction engineering and construction management support during various stages of a construction contract.
Evaluate the effectiveness of project quality programs which includes both the NAVFAC field office quality assurance and, the construction contractor’s quality control program, and the effectiveness of a construction program to deliver projects on-time, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents.
Analyze actual construction workload data to provide recommendations for resource management, training programs, and changes necessary for construction business procedures.
Conduct and/or facilitate forums, meetings and conferences for in- house construction workforce personnel, and maintain partnerships with construction industry associations.
Provide technical and reach back support to NAVFAC field offices to facilitate project delivery.
Bachelor’s degree with major course work in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
Possession of a valid driver’s license.
Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Professional Engineering (PE), or Architectural registration is required at application.
