The Quality Coordinator is responsible for handling product returns, generating reports, analyzing quality data, and recommending and implementing process and quality improvements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Compiles returns data and productivity metrics on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.
- Analyzes returns data, including unneeded parts, to determine actions plans (e.g. feedback to manufacturing sites, updates to the Wiki, etc.).
- Reviews equipment inspection, configuration, and calibration data and generates reports for the Quality Manager and manufacturing sites.
- Assesses returned equipment, determines the disposition (e.g. recertify, scrap, etc.), and priorities activities with the Customer Service Manager.
- Analyzes SalesForce.com case data to identify trends. Provides recommendations on how to improve the customer experience.
- Creates procedures and work instructions.
- Receives in returned product.
- Processes customer returns and property.
- Enters data and orders.
- Inspects and tests returned product.
- Programs and duplicates the following:
- Operates electronic boards;
- EEPROM chips;
- Micro SD cards;
- Guided User Interfaces.
- Processes vendor returns.
- Meets company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures
- Adheres to company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments
- Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Training and Experience
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree (preferred) or High School Degree with relevant experience is required.
- Experience working in a Quality Assurance or Returns department is preferred.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
- Proven organizational skills and ability to meet targets, goals, timelines, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Computers including Microsoft Office.
- Experience analyzing data in Microsoft Excel (charts, graphs, formulas, Pivot Tables, etc.) is required.
- Basic knowledge of statistics (mean, standard deviation, median, mode, etc.) is required.
- Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Access is a plus.
- Experience with SharePoint lists is a plus.
- Experience initiating and completing corrective action reports (CARs) is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Will require sitting, standing, and bending.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The work environment of the position is in a professional office environment and warehouse
environment at principal place of business.
