The University of the Sciences is seeking applicants for a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Biological Sciences. The job is open to persons holding a doctoral degree in Biology or related field possessing research training and experience in the areas of the molecular biology of plants. The position will address the application of biotechnological tools to generate transgenic plants to enhance nanoparticle synthesis in plants. This person should also be able to interact with other researchers in the lab, help graduate and undergraduate students working in the lab, and support the project director in meeting the goals of this project. The post-doc should have the ability to work independently and disseminate the research findings through peer-reviewed publications.
This is a one-year, grant-funded postdoctoral position.
The finalist will be required to successfully pass a background check.
