Performs routine engineering investigations in support of current research or product development efforts using engineering software analysis tools. Assists with the work flow design, assay and process development, and evaluation of prototype medical devices, equipment, and software, focusing on live cell imaging and processing for cells and cell lines. Assists with preparation and evaluation of test protocols and test specimens. Prepares charts, graphs and other documentation in support of articles for publication, project reports and grant applications. This position is available in the laboratory of Dr. George Muschler in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute. We are an established laboratory with over 20 year record of continuous Federal funding (NIH and DoD). We enjoy broad multidisciplinary collaborations - national and internationally.
