Civil Engineer-Construction Engineering
Civil Engineers in the County Department of Public Works (DPW) Construction Engineering Program have professional responsibilities and perform a wide variety of engineering duties on Capital Improvement Program (CIP) construction projects, including but not limited to: serve as resident engineers on a single or multiple large projects; perform contract administration; monitor, inspect and enforce stormwater permit requirements; perform technical and financial analysis; prepare complex engineering calculations; perform constructability and other technical reviews and research; interpret and implement construction plans and specifications; prepare a variety of technical and financial reports; and perform other related duties as assigned.
