EXPERIENCE:
The City uses the experience and education described below as general guidelines to evaluate compliance with the qualifications described above.  Comparable experience and education is acceptable for meeting the position's minimum qualifications.  Specified licenses, certificates, and registrations must be held and maintained.
 
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university and two years of verifiable professional and civil engineering experience is required.  

 License and Certificates:

• Possession of a current Certificate of Registration as a civil engineer in the State of California is required. 
• Possession of valid Class "C" California Driver's License, in accordance with ADA regulations, is a condition of employment for those appointed to this class.
