Generation Asset Management Manager
Chelan County Public Utility District
The Generation Asset Management Manager leads the department in the implementation of a sustainable asset management program for Chelan PUD's generation assets; focused on equipment inspection and condition assessment, reliability centered maintenance, risk assessment and input to capital allocation, and operations and maintenance planning. This position also supports utility wide asset management to ensure consistency and prioritization of resources, sets the tone for asset management with generation and transmission, and provides cross-functional leadership to other areas of the organization.

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in engineering or a degree in a quantitative specialty such as mathematics, finance, actuarial science, engineering, or economics from a four-year college or university; or the equivalent combination of education, experience and training is required. Graduate level management degree (MBA or similar) focusing in Asset Management principles, or master’s degree in an applicable study area desired. Minimum ten (10) years progressively responsible experience in a major capital equipment intensive industry, electrical utility preferred. Experience to include a minimum of five (5) years managing, planning or analyzing equipment maintenance, performance data, risk, reliability centered maintenance activities, or asset management systems. Experience in generating plant operations and maintenance preferred. Experience in supervising staff and providing leadership to various parts of a diverse organization preferred. |
