Patriot Erectors LLC is an AISC Certified Steel Fabricator and AISC Advanced Steel Erector. Founded in 1991, our headquarters is located just west of Austin, Texas. We have two additional facilities in Trinity and Rio Vista, Texas. Combined, we have more than 178,000 square feet of modern fabrication capacity. The Senior Detailing Manager will be responsible for direct oversight of all employees within, and the activities managed or performed by the Detailing and Document Control departments. The Detailing department is responsible for the oversight of third-party detailing firms or in-house detailers in the generation of critical shop and erection drawing submittals over the lifespan of a project while the Document Control department is responsible for the proper setup of file infrastructure for all projects, the submittal, receipt, and logging of project related documents/drawings and transmitting of those documents to other parties as required.     

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and potential growth of Detailing Management Team and potential in-house detailing team to achieve overall project success through tracked scheduling and quality measures.
• Oversee the daily operations of the Document Control Team.
• Assign projects to 3^rd party detailers as well as potential in-house detailing team while working within project budget restraints.
• Assign projects to Detailing Managers that require 3^rd party detailing management.
• Implement and manage adherence to new or established processes and procedures within both departments.
• Maintain and publish written company detailing standard as needed to adhere to company standards and needs.
• Assist Project Managers and Detailing Managers with technical drawing or detailing related issues as needed.
• Control number of 3^rd party detailing firms used to ensure quality as well as capacity.
• Monitor and measure quality and reliability of 3^rd party detailing firms to limit quality and schedule related issues attributable to detailing.
• Speak with customers as needed to assist with detailing or scheduling issues.
